Sue Green, a freelance animal rescue volunteer, was delighted when she received this canvas at her home in Port Charlotte, Florida. For some time, she had used her hobby as a photographer to raise money for several animal shelters…but this canvas turned out so well that she offered it to her local zoo where she had taken the photo during a leopard exhibit. And the zoo in turn sold it at their annual fundraiser.
Sue tells about the day she snapped the photo. “This particular zoo in Collier County has glass instead of a cage front, so I was able to get up close. The leopard walked right up to me, literally an inch away!” When Sue took the canvas to work to show her coworkers, they couldn’t believe how great it turned out! “Now they all have your website, so they can order from you, too.”
This wasn’t Sue’s first order with Canvas on Demand, and she says it won’t be her last. “You do beautiful work and the service is quick and friendly.”
Sue, you are an inspiration to us. It’s great to see how you’ve used your passion for photography to help the animals that you love so much! It makes me wonder how others are using their canvases to make a difference in the world. If anyone has a similar story, please email it to me. (mom@canvasondemand.com) Mom
