Announcing Operation Hi Honey!

Posted by Mom on Tuesday, June 16th, 2009 at 1:07 pm

Canvas on Demand appreciates our troops!  That’s why we started Operation Hi Honey, a program that gives hundreds of our deployed military men and women a free fine-art canvas that will be presented to their spouse on their anniversary.  The beautiful 16″x20″ PixelPaintedTM canvas, created from a favorite photo, has the look and feel of a traditional custom painting.  It’s a personalized keepsake that their Honey will hang in a place of honor and cherish for years to come.

Chris from Colorado Springs said: "This is the day our wonderful daughter was born."

So if you are a deployed member of the United States military and want to surprise your Honey on your anniversary, you can apply.  Recipients will be selected randomly each week, and the canvas will be delivered to your Honey in time for your anniversary.  Be sure to apply at least 6 weeks before your anniversary date.  All submissions and photos will be posted on our website and can easily be forwarded by email to friends and family.

If you know someone who qualifies, we need your help in spreading the word!  Most of us have some connection to a man or woman serving overseas in the U.S. Military.  Please pass along this information about Operation Hi Honey by forwarding this blog to them or to someone close to them www.canvasondemand.com/hihoney. By working together, we can make anniversaries very special for our troops and to their dedicated spouses on the home front!  It’s our way of honoring those who serve and protect our country.

I also want to thank you for doing this. We did one for my husband’s Mom also with the Operation Hi Mom. She loved it and the quality was great!! I am excited that y’all are doing this now. I, too, am a FRG leader and have forwarded this to the Company Commander, 1SG, and all my other deployed contacts to spread the word. I have also told our FRSA and Battalion Commander’s wife so that they can spread it to other companies.

Dear Canvas on Demand and “Operation Hi Honey” staff,
Thank you so very much for this service that you provide to our troops and their families. My husband is currently deployed to Afghanistan, and it was so heartwarming when I recieved this present in the mail. I am so very thankful to those of you who make this possible. These canvases are such a beautiful reminder of the loved ones who are absent from us when they serve our country, and they’re also a reminder of the gratitude of Americans and American companies who support our service men and women. Thank you for showing your gratitude to my husband and me in this way- the canvas will be such a beautiful keepsake for our family!
    Charlotte
PS. Is there a physical address to which I can send a formal “Thank you” letter?

  16. Mom says:

Charlotte: Your “Thank You” means alot to all of us at Canvas on Demand. This project is close to the hearts of all our staff here. It’s simply our way of saying thanks for the sacrifices of those serving our country and to their families at home holding down the fort. We truly appreciate our troops and their spouses! Wishing you and yours the best in the new year! Mom
