This photo was taken while I was home on leave from my last deployment. My wife and I went to the beach for 5 days for vacation. I love this picture because I am doing one of my favorite things, kissing her. She loves it because she says you can see how in love she is with me in her face and it makes her giggle.
Here’s what Jake had to say about Misty…
Misty is an amazing woman. She is so strong and independent. Sometimes it’s hard for her to let me take care of her but she’s getting better at it. She handles the house, the kids, and life back home while I’m deployed and never complains. She definitely has a harder job then I do. She makes me melt inside when I look at her. She radiates beauty and could fix anything with her smile. She doesn’t hesitate to help others in need and never asks for anything in return. I couldn’t ask for a better woman, nor could I find one if I searched for the rest of my life. She truly is my soulmate and my best friend and I would be lost without her.
This is my beautiful daughter, Misty! I agree with Jake! My son-in-law got it right with and about her! She is an amazing woman with a heart of gold! She has always been a source of PRIDE for me! Her dad was lost in a Military helicopter crash when she was 12. She became a woman he would have been so proud of! She has strength of spirit, strength of courage, and strength of soul! She is my inspiration every day! The love between Misty and Jake is almost touchable it is so alive! The air around them is alive and bubbly! They have weathered storm after storm and continue to stay focused and happy! They are both wonders! I feel blessed every single day to have this beautiful girl as my daughter and Thank GOD every day that she and Jake are together and happy! The kids are icing on the cake!! They have 5 beautiful children and all are shining examples of their parents! I love them all very much! I am PROUD TO BE THEIR MOM!!!!
