This was taken as part of our engagement pictures in 2006. We were married in mid December and a week later were seperated for the first time until the end of January. For the first 2 years of our marraige I was deployed twice for a total of nine months and underway conducting operations an additional five. It appears that by the time of our third anniversary in Dec I will have been away more than I have been home with her.

We recently transfered from Virginia to Hawaii. I deployed 2 months after we arrived in the islands and she is still job searching and trying to find new friends locally since we didn’t know anyone in the area when we arrived.
