Earlier this week, I left Raleigh headed to Indiana on the first leg of the Canvas Across America Tour.
Lots of rain and fog, so I had to use some creative energy behind the wheel to help pass the time. (Check out the video below.) I’m leaving early tomorrow morning on the next segment of the 3,000 mile tour…Indiana, Missouri, Kansas.
There will be an Operation Hi Honey presentation to a military wife in Dixon, Missouri. (I love those!) And also scheduled is an on-the-road interview with KSTP radio out of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota. Joining me on air will be Lori, whose husband is serving our country in the US Army. He asked Canvas on Demand to present Lori with a lovely canvas for their anniversary last month. Lori and I will be spreading the word to others about Operation Hi Mom. It’s Canvas on Demand’s way of honoring our troops and thanking their spouses for the sacrifices they are making back home.
Stay tuned for the “rest of the story”! Mom
