Approval date: 1/28/2010

About the organization:
The Indy Racing League Ministry (IRL Ministry), a 501c3 not-for-profit, non-denominational organization, began when the Indy Racing League (IRL) was founded in 1996 to provide spiritual support and counseling to the IRL both on and off the track. With the exciting growth of the Izod Indy Racing League, there is even more need for the IRL Ministry as there are hundreds to minister to – both the Indy Car Series, with as many as 30 teams, as well as the Firestone Indy Lights Series, which can have between 20 to 25 teams, the safety team, IRL officials, hospitality providers and support personnel. With increased pressures and demands on drivers, teams, officials and their families, the ministry is available to assist in many different ways such as providing support in times of crisis as well as encouragement during challenging times. Non-denominational chapel services and Catholic services are also provided at all race venues. Bob Hills is the Director & Chaplain. In an effort to raise funds, they are hosting a Night of Memories @ the Museum on Monday, January 11, 2010 ? see the attached invitation & visit www.irlministry.com for further event details.

THANKS FOR DOING GOOD!
