Thanks to all the Canvas Crazies who entered our Valentine Challenge to write a poem about a favorite image. There were so many wonderful entries that the judges told us that the greatest challenge of all was narrowing the selection down to two winners. In fact, they simply couldn’t do it! They picked five winners and wouldn’t budge from their decision…so congratulations to our FIVE winners (in no particular order since they are all earned a first place!):
- Kim submitted her poem about a photo of her three daughters sitting along a brick wall. It is titled, Sunshine.
- Ginger-Kathleen, who photographed her toddler walking away from her down a lane, titled her piece, This Will Be Your View, Mama.
- Erik wrote My Warm Spring Day to go with his image of swans
- Katie wrote My Soldier has my Heart about her black and white image of sheand her husband in his uniform
- Erinn wrote My Dearest Little Grandchild about the image she finally selected from the hundreds she shot of her little granddaughter
They will all receive a FREE 16″ X 20″ canvas of their photo with a few words from their poem imposed on it. (You will all be contacted by one of our customer service representatives very soon by email to arrange the creation of your canvas.)
But there is more! The two owners, Tom and Joe, just told me that they want to give ALL the other Crazies who entered their poems 50% off their next Canvas on Demand order. It’s their way of saying: Thanks for Being our Valentine! So everyone else who entered the contest will receive an electronic coupon this coming week.
