Adventure is worthwhile in itself. Emelia Earhart
Are you an adventurer? I am!
It seems I’m either getting myself into a mess that evolves into adventure…or I’m actually deliberately planning one. “The sense of adventure is as individual as facial features,” says Dr. Munro Cullum. He’s chief of the psychology division of psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center. For some people, an adventure is eating a new kind of food; for others it’s skydiving or mountain climbing.
When I’m not smack headon into an adventure of my own, I’m begging somebody else to tell me about theirs. I’ve noticed that often they begin their story by saying, “You aren’t gonna believe it!” That response resonates with me, because there have been times–many times–when others actually DIDN’T BELIEVE ME.
So, what to do? Document it with pictures. And then send one of your favorites to us, and we’ll create a canvas that will make believers out of every one them!

Camille, from Barrington, IL, with her family on an African safari.
