Mike told us about photo…
While home on leave from my deployment to Iraq, my father-in-law threw a surprise cookout for my wife and me. I had not seen my beautiful wife in about 10 months. As we were learning to be “us” in the short time we had together, someone asked us to smile for the camera and out popped one of my favorite pictures of us.

Here’s what Mike had to say about Kelly…
There is not a more amazing woman more deserving of a gift like this and there is not enough space for me to truly tell you how special of a lady she is. My wife is a full-time accountant, college instructor and a master’s student at the local university. If that is not a demonstration of how busy or committed she is, then I am not sure what is. Now, add all of the things previously mentioned on top of being a caring and loving wife to a soldier who seemingly stays deployed. Many people would not have the patience to put up with all of that, but I am certain my wife is an angel. I would say disguised as one, but her beauty easily makes that statement false.

My wife, honestly, can do it all. From working in the office to getting out and plowing the snow covered drive way. Unfortunately, she has been forced to adapt to not always having me around and has done so exceedingly well. Although, I haven’t seen her give my truck an oil change, I will say she can do pretty much anything around the house…well, there is that cooking thing, but easily overshadowed by the rest of her amazing abilities.

Kelly is an avid scrap-booker and loves crafts. You will not find a more appreciative and deserving person than her for this type of gift. Now it would be foolish for me to tell you that she will not try and make something similar to the canvas herself, but that is what I love about her. Always wanting to learn, live, experiment, be creative and just enjoys what she has.
