When snapping a shot, we often say: “Smile for the camera.” And lately I’ve noticed some rather out of the ordinary smiles. I’ll begin with a sweet vintage image we turned to canvas for one of our customers. She told us: “This picture was taken 40 years ago of my three little daughters laughing. It is a happiness picture, and it had been lost for 20 years. I looked in the back of an old scrapbook and there it was. Forty years was not too long to wait for you to make it into a beautiful canvas that will be a keepsake! I love the canvas and will soon order two more for my other two daughters’ birthdays. Your service was excellent; every email I sent with a question was immediately answered. I can’t wait to give this canvas as a present, I am so excited.”
Another delightful canvas was one we made for a customer named Tasha. I call it A Sweet Pink Smile. Tasha explained: “This is one of our favorite photos of our daughter laughing at age 3 months. I ordered a canvas as a gift for my husband, and he loved it. The service was outstanding, and the canvas is absolutely beautiful!”
I laughed at the energy in this next canvas taken in Key West by Sara. “This photo was taken with a point and shoot camera. I was not expecting it to turn out so clear! I am even more happy with my Canvas. Thanks!”
I can assure you that if I had just jumped out of a plane, I would not be capable of smiling for the camera as Nick did on his 26th birthday! Way to go, Nick!
And I’ll end with my favorite smile on the lovely little face of Ellen, the daughter of Robin who simply told us that it was hot out and Ellen was ready to eat some avocadoes!
Now ask someone you love to “Smile for the camera!” Mom
