Generous contributions empower the American Cancer Society to pursue aggressive goals for the year 2015: decreasing cancer deaths by 50 percent, preventing almost five million deaths, reducing cancer incidence by 25 percent, averting almost six million diagnoses, and measurably improving the quality of life for people with cancer.
It is, in part, because of the on going financial support from friends like you that we have come so far in the fight against cancer, since the Society was founded in 1913. Through your support, we continue making progress in controlling, and ultimately, defeating cancer.
