About the organization:
Doane Academy is an independent college-preparatory day school for students Pre-K to grade 12. The school’s mission is to develop intelligent, capable young people within a school culture where students are known and loved, strongly encouraged to realize their full potential and have a significant impact on the world around them. Community service, leadership, character development and outdoor education are the cornerstones of our program. Students of all ages are exposed to the importance of “giving back” and realizing their ability to “change the world” through participation at local soup kitchens, community service days and domestic and international service trips.
