Did you know that:
• For FIVE consecutive years, LSU Bogalusa Medical Center received the eQHealth Solutions, Louisiana’s Medicare quality improvement organization, Platinum Level Award for excellence in patient care.
• LSU Bogalusa Medical Center is the largest employer in the parish.
• Over 500 babies have been born in our Special Beginnings Family Center, the labor and delivery unit, since it opened its doors.
The LSU Bogalusa Medical Center Foundation is a group of volunteers from across our community who work together to enhance, support and help expand the capabilities of the LSU Bogalusa Medical Center in the care of its patients.
On Friday, September 21, 2012, the Foundation will host its Fourth Annual Fundraising event. The event, titled The Big Cat Benefit, will share with our community the work of the Foundation and celebrate the strength of LSU Bogalusa Medical Center. It will include a silent and live auction dinner. The success of last year’s fundraiser enabled the Foundation to further its mission by purchasing:
• A Braslow Pediatric Code Cart
• An external pace maker for cardiac intervention
• A Precor Treadmill for Cardiac Rehab
• Labor and Delivery Memento Boxes
