About the organization:
The Aly & Izy Foundation is a 501(c )(3) non-profit whose mission is to provide comfort items and support for babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)along with their family members while undergoing this most difficult time in their lives. Some of our specific services include providing comforting care packages for NICU families, assisting with finding the parents somewhere to stay nearby the hospital if needed providing support to mothers while on bed rest as well as provide support for NICU families before, during and after their NICU stay. We also provide a very unique service in which we host a NICU family in an RV, owned by the foundation, in the hospital parking lot so that they are near their baby 24 hours a day. We currently serve local area NICU's in Sacramento and Placer counties.
Our ultimate goal is to own six RVs, one for every NICU in the greater Sacramento area. As our services continue to expand, we hope that we will be able to support the requests from the NICU's and the needs of these families and their precious little ones.
