Maritza told us about the photo…

We took this picture at a Seattle Sounders game (we love the Sounders). We decided to be festive and have our hair spray painted green.

Here’s what Maritza had to say about Adrian…

My husband is the most wonderful person in my life. He’s a great father and husband. I could never imagine my life without him. I don’t understand the patiece he has for me, but it’s one of the many reasons I love him like crazy.

Robert told us about the photo…

The picture is like the one picture that she always talks about when i am deployed. It was just following my last deployment and its that one point in our lives that can never be forgotten, that single picture has more value too the both of us then any other picture. it was taken the night of our second Marine Corps ball and that night will be forever remebered.

Here’s what Robert had to say about Elizabeth…

She is a great woman that has devoted her entire self to make sure that during the times of deployment everything is taken care of on the home front, she never lets the little stressfull things that pop up during deployment reach me until they are solved, so i am not concerned with them. This is the second deployment that she has had to endure and she never complains about having to take care of the house or anything for that matter. She is such a great woman and is truly devoted to making us happy even during the tough times.

Dustin told us about the photo…

This photo was taken just hours before I boarded the plane to Afghanistan, on my first deployment mission. My wife of almost 2 years was up at 2 am to take me and say our “see you laters”

Here’s what Dustin had to say about Lark…

My wife is the most caring, loving individual I have ever met, she has that motherly nature about her even though we don’t have children yet, but one day she will be a fantastic mother. She always puts everyone before herself and although sometimes her emotions get the best of her, she is very strong to be doing this all alone.

David told us about the photo…

This photo was taken about a month before I left for Afghanistan.

Here’s what David had to say about Brittany…

My wife is the best person I have ever met. I never thought I would be lucky enough to have met someone as wonderful as she is. She cares for me as much as I care for her, and trust me that’s saying something.

Matthew told us about the photo…

This photo was taken right before I left for Afghanistan. I know that I was thinking she was the one that was going to be fine with yet another deployment. Me, I was just trying to stop time and enjoy the moment. I see the eager look as well as remember her words “we’ll be okay, we’ve got this. One day at a time”.

Here’s what Matthew had to say about Stephanie…

My wife is my best friend. This will be our 19th anniversary this year, and unfortunately not our first apart. Through it all she has truly been my rock. She is fearless, independent and extremely capable. While I have pursued my dream of serving my country and Corps for over 20 years, she has remained faithful and supportive of me and our children. She loves me and works hard everyday to see me succeed. I could not have asked for a better wife and realize at times that I don’t deserve the wonderful wife I do have. I am truly blessed.

Merrick told us about the photo…

This was last family photo prior to my deployment to Afghanistan. This photo was taking in Bavaria region of Germany.

Here’s what Merrick had to say about Patricia…

My wife is beautiful and loving mother. We met in high-school and got married after graduation. She has been my rock supporting me thru two previous deployments and now a third one. I am to deploy and complete my mission because of her. I have no worries because I know that she has everything covered at home when am deployed. She is the best mother and wife there is.
