hank told us about photo…
This picture was taken the day of our wedding in Italy. My life completally changed that day.

Here’s what hank had to say about Carla…
My wife is the most wonderfull woman in the world. She is Italian, and we met the first time I was stationed in Italy. I was lost there – my first duty station and far from my family and my country for the first time – but as soon as I saw her I felt home. I immediately fell in love with her. When I had to leave, I told her I would be back and after 3 years(and lots of money spent on calls and plane ticket)… I did. She was there waiting for me. Now we are married for 4 years and we have 2 beautiful girls. They are the reason I live!

This is a picture of Toby and I on R&R in Las Vegas. We were both deployed at the time to different places and decided to take a mini vacation of our own in between visiting both of our families in California.

Here’s what Erin had to say about Toby …
Toby is my rock and my support. We have been together 3 years and have been through 2 deployments (so far). Our first deployment we were together and though there were challenges, this deployment apart is much more difficult.

This was the night before we went on my pre-deployment block leave.

Here’s what Chad had to say about Ashley…
She is a lovable, caring, and gentle soul who doesn’t take any crap from anyone. She knows how to defend herself. She is a remarkable woman who has been through so much in her life. She is going to be working full time as a student to get her RN while being pregnant. She follows her priorities to the max potential: God, Family, and Friends.

The photo was taken the day I deployed to Iraq. I love looking at it and seeing the strong capable woman I married.

Here’s what Michael had to say about Crystal…
February 3, 2010 will be our 9 year anniversary. She is everything I could ever hope for in a wife and more. She is a wonderful, strong mother to our 3 children. This is the longest deployment for us, and it’s tough, but not as tough as she is.

Marcus told us about photo…
This photo was taken when I came home for R/R when our third child was born. I was only home for 2 weeks and that was the most important time with my family. I cherish my family and the mean the world to me. This was our first family photo before I went back to Iraq in September.

Here’s what Marcus had to say about Margaret…
My wife is what keeps me going strong here in Iraq. She takes care of our three kids including a newborn. We have no family around to help her, she works full time, takes care of our three children. After a long day at work she even finds the time to take our oldest son to Wrestling lesson witch helps our son with his behavior promblems. On Saturdays she takes our daughter to her ballet classes, and never has time to do anything, but to work and take care of our beautiful children. She is the most amazing person I know. Her love and support is what keeps me strong here in Iraq and fight harder and safer to come home to my family. They are my world. This year Feb 1st we will have been married for 14 years out of those 14 years I have been home only 10 years. I have gone through 4 deployments, but she still supports me and stands by myside. I wouldnt ask for anyone better then her. She is a strong woman , and a great mother.

This photo was taken a at a Rascal Flatts concert while I was on leave before deploying.

Here’s what Will had to say about Morgan…
Morgan is the most beautiful and well rounded person I know. This is my second deployment we are going through together and she is doing great with them. She is very strong and keeps her head up. Morgan supports me so much with the decisions I make. I would not want to spend my life with anyone else.

Scott told us about photo…
This picture is a mini-polaroid taken at our favorite restaurant while stationed on the island of Okinawa. It is one of our favorite pictures and as you can see by its condition, I carry it with me at all times (hopefully its quality is sufficient to create a painting). I am currently deployed to Afghanistan and it, like my beautiful wife is always near my heart.

Here’s what Scott had to say about Meiko…
My wife, best friend and mother of our two incredible children is the inspiration in my life. She is strong, dependable, supportive and caring and I have always considered myself extremely fortunate to have such a great partner to experience this life with. This will be our 6th anniversary and I love her as much today as the day she accepted my proposal of marriage.
