The photo was taken the day prior to our wedding, I was taking my R&R leave from my first deployment. In those two weeks we got married and had our awesome honeymoon in Puerto Rico.

We didn’t have a formal wedding, so we have never had professional pictures done. She found a photographer here in Alaska in our price range and we were able to take an amazing photo shoot with our family and of ourselves outside in the Alaska winter. It was and will always be a very memorable time.

My wife is the best thing to happen to me. If we wouldn’t have started dating then there is no telling where i would be. My wife is the most supportive person in everything that i do. While i am away on deployments she takes care of the kids and the entire last deployment she was pregnant and done everything by herself with no help from family due to them being over three hours away. I whole heartdly support my wife in what ever she wants to do and will always put her and the kids needs above my own.
