Leander told us about the photo…

This photo was taken at the Grand Canyon July 4th 2011 while I visiting my family with my then girlfriend, later fiance, and now my wife.

Here’s what Leander had to say about their mom…

My Mom has always been my biggest cheerleader and my #1 fan. She has tried her absolute hardest to be at everything important regardless of the distance. I’ve never had to ever wonder if I made her proud and she has always given me her biggest vote of confidence. Above all she is one of my best friends and thanks to all the love she has given and continues to give me I think it makes me a better man and a better husband.

david told us about the photo…

This was taken right after I came back from our last deployment which almost a year long. I had deployed when my youngest was all of three months old after i had left him to start training when he was four days old. I came home and he was already thirteen months old and my other two grew up so much, it made me sad.

Here’s what david had to say about kara…

She is the greatest thing that ever happened to me she is the most beautiful woman in the world. She has given me so much and asked for so little in return she has the military wife pride that earned never given. She is so proud to be a navy wife and even more to be a corpsmen’s wife.
