A Canvas Can Make a Special Occasion Even More Memorable!

Saturday, March 13th, 2010

A canvas can become a true keepsake when it commemorates a special event.  We were recently delighted to hear from Feliciai from Leonardwood, Missouri.  She contacted us to let us know a how pleased she was with her canvas which honored her fiancee’ at his military retirement.   Feliciai, it was our pleasure.  And we truly appreciate all the years that he served our country!  Mom

She said:  This is my fiancee’ with the Canvas On Demand art canvas at his 20-year military retirement ceremony. I am so impressed with your work. Thank you for redoing the canvas print and removing/adding a different picture and still getting it here so quickly!  I will forever be grateful to you guys! This meant so much to me and my fiance’. You made a real difference on this very special day, because you’re willing to go the extra mail to make your customers happy.  I will most certainly recommend you to everyone I know.  But be prepared for a lot of orders from the military!  Thanks again, Feliciai

Help Us Get the Word out to our Troops in Time for a FREE Mother’s Day Offer

Tuesday, March 9th, 2010

Do you know of someone who is deployed abroad in the US military?  If so, please let them know that they can get a FREE art canvas from Canvas on Demand that will be shipped [or in some cases, personally delivered] to their mom for Mother’s Day!

Canvas on Demand has a special program called “Operation Hi Mom” that awards hundreds of our deployed men and women a free fine art canvas, printed from a favorite photo, which will be presented to their moms on Mother’s Day. Deployed soldiers can simply go to a specially-designed webpage to submit a request, write their mother an endearing message, and upload a photo.  It’s a way for soldiers to say to their mom, I love you…and it’s a way for Canvas on Demand to say to our troops, Thanks for a job well-done!  And of course, the 16“x20” keepsakes also honor all those mothers who have sons and daughters overseas.

If you click here, you will see the informationabout Operation Hi Mom.  The REGISTER NOW BUTTON is right below it…  http://cool.canvasondemand.com/category/operation-hi-mom-honey/operation-hi-honey/

Won’t you please help us get the word out in time for Mother’s Day, so our troops can enjoy this FREE offer from Canvas on Demand?  Thanks, Mom

You Can Still Order in Time for the Holidays!

The folks on your list value gifts that are about them.  Alberta decided to give her daughter this personalized art canvas of her dog, Buddy.  Alberta told us about the image:

This is a picture of my daughter’s dog, Buddy. It was taken on Thanksgiving at Grandma’s house. Buddy is not very photogenic, but this one of him is very good. I’m giving this to my daughter for Christmas. She will cry, I’m sure!   Thanks Canvas on Demand.  You gave me excellent service and an excellent product!

Give them the best gift of the holidays, a canvas of something or someone they love.  They’ll probably cry!  Thanks Alberta for the kind words and have a wonderful holiday and New Year!  Mom

I know she's gonna cry...

Canvas on Demand Supports At-Risk Youth Program

Monday, December 7th, 2009

A few months ago, Jon, from Canvas on Demand’s customer service department, was contacted by Chris Yanov from Reality Changers, a California-based non-profit that supports at-risk youth. Chris explained the mission of his organization to Jon.

Reality Changers’ mission is to provide inner-city youth from disadvantaged backgrounds with the resources to become first generation college sudents by supplying academic support, financial assistance, and faith-based leadership training.

Jon was not only impressed with the organization’s mission statement, he was especially astonished with their remarkable success rate!

Jon says: The reason that I took special interest in the organization is because it truly changes lives of so many young people. It is an organization that helps inner-city youth be around positive role models in a setting that teaches self-discipline and helps the kids focus on the their future. Every single person who has graduated from Reality Changers has gone on to college, something that no one in their family has ever done!

The reason for Chris’ call was to inquire about the cost of having 30 canvases created for a long hallway in their building. The canvases, he explained, would honor the successes of many of their young participants. Jon spoke to the co-owners of Canvas on Demand, and both agreed they would feel honored to be a part of this wonderful initiative.

Way to go, Reality Changers. What a terrific idea to change the world! Watch the Thank You video below that Reality Changers made for Canvas on Demand.

Mom Prepares to Hit the Road Again!

Wednesday, October 21st, 2009
The excitement is building here at Canvas on Demand!  On Friday morning, I will be leaving our Raleigh offices with my van loaded up with Operation Hi Honey art canvases that I will present to spouses of those deployed and serving our country abroad.  There are many here at the company who participate in this effort to support our troops–the customer service and art departments, the production and packing divisions, and of course, the two owners Tom and Joe.
On my last trip of deliveries, I unfortunately had to miss one wife in Missouri, because she was gone at the time I passed through.  Since her husband could not be there, I really wanted to present their anniversary canvas to her in person, but it simply didn’t work out.  I had to ship it to her instead.  I just received a note from her that I want to share with our readers.
Dear Mom:  I want to thank you for the wonderful canvas of my husband Msgt Christopher and myself. It was a very nice surprise!  I really wish I could have personally met you when you were here in St. Joseph. I am writing to say thank you very much for the canvas.  It really means alot to me to have it. I have told lots of people about this offer from Canvas on Demand and how it supports our troops. Again…thank you so much,  Amber
