Dance Like No One is Watching

Thursday, April 11th, 2013

These lovely canvases speak for themselves.  The images capture the sheer delight of young people dancing as if no one is watching!   This group of canvases is actually a confluence of arts–dance and photography.   William Stafford said: Kids: they dance before they learn there is anything that isn’t music.

Look at the fabulous colors in this canvas of a little girl named Esther.  The customer tells us in her testimonial that “Canvas On Demand does a great job! I never have to worry about the quality. It’s a good feeling to know my precious work is in trustworthy hands.”

When I first saw this next canvas on our Customer Showcase, it made me want to get up and dance myself.  What a joy and inspiration this child is!  Stacy was able to capture her 13-year-old who was ”at the beach dancing like no one was watching!”  She also had this to say.  “I love Canvas on Demand! I am impressed every time!”  Stacy, you really made our day with both the fabulous photo and the kind words.

And finally, another amazing beach dance.  I am especially fond of the earth tones, the perfect backdrop for a stunning canvas.  The customer who ordered this, Melinda, told us:  “I have used Canvas on Demand 10 times now . . . and every time I have been nothing less than amazed. Quick, personal customer service and amazing products. I have had several made and have  given them for gifts. Everyone loves them.”

These children are certainly examples of the Constanze quote:  “Dancing is like dreaming with your feet!  Mom

From the heART!

I am not an artist, but I am an art lover.  Occasionally, we are asked to make canvases from art works that a customer has made.  And I sometimes find myself stopped in my tracks.  That happened today.

Take for example this canvas of an oil painting that Bill created of his friend’s 1958 Oldsmobile.  He pointed out, “Notice only the letters OLD in the name Oldsmobile appear on the trunk of the car. Working with you folks  has been a very positive experience. The paintings were reproduced exactly as I wanted, the quality of printing and framing was excellent, and I couldn’t be happier! As an artist, you can expect me to be a regular customer, as I have many paintings that I want to re-create on canvas. Thanks.”

Then another customer named Robert sent us this next one. “The artwork that Canvas on Demand printed for me is a rehashed version of the old 1970s peace sign. The organization ‘Pass The Positive’ uses it as their logo – and this was a special holiday gift for the company’s founder.”

Now you might not often think of this next kind of art—make up art!  Rudy told us in his testimonial:  “Wow! Canvas o Demand was easy to use and offered all the options I needed! This photo is an example of my work as a makeup artist. It turned out AMAZINGLY perfect. I had a completely different interpretation of what the finished product would look like and thought my expectations were high, but the finished product super-ceded my expectations.”  That is always our goal, Rudy.  Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Finally, Dayna asked us to turn a piece of her art into a canvas wall hanging.  “This is a reprint from my Fearless Faces series — No. 4.  I sold the original, so it was wonderful to have such a lovely reproduction for myself! It was absolutely flawless service. In fact, when COD received my order, they sent me an e-mail letting me know that my art would work better if the canvas was two inches taller and made the change at no additional cost to me! Was I ever impressed!”

How wonderful, Dayna, that you had this canvas created so that you never have to completely let go of your amazing creation!  So to all of you artists out there…there can only be one original, but there can be many keepsake canvases!  Mom
