Every now and then—like yesterday—I go antiquing. It always puts me in a nostalgic mood, so when I sat down at my computer to post today’s Canvas on Demand article, I went straight to the Vintage section of our Customer Showcase.
I landed first upon a canvas we created for a customer named Barbara of her boyfriend’s elderly Italian grandmother. Well…not only am I feeling reflective, but I am Italian too! Barbara explained: “The photo is a vintage 1960 photo of my boyfriend’s Nonnie as she was kneading bread dough in their old kitchen. I thought the photo was a timeless portrait. She passed away over 20 years ago and my boyfriend was very close to her. When he opened the package and saw the canvas, tears came to his eyes. That is the best present I’ve ever gotten!
