Shadows and Reflections

Monday, May 28th, 2012

Reflections dominate today’s post.  Well, reflections and shadows, which is sort of a reflection, I think.

Heather asked for a canvas using a shadowy image of her fiancé’s silhouette as he rode his horse in the desert.  “He has a cowboy hat on and due to him taking his own pic, his head is tiny and his body LARGE! It’s a cool pic and it’s even better on canvas this by Canvas on Demand!  I LOVE IT; LOVE IT; LOVE IT!!  Great service.  Canvas on Demand does the best job by far!”  Yes, Heather, it is, indeed, a very COOL canvas!  Thanks for the kind words.

Who would not be fascinated by this next photo sent to us by Ryan?  He simply told us:  “Sitting watching the Baltimore Orioles playing the New York Yankees on a nice sunny afternoon.”  The black and white background with the colored glasses is dynamite!

Berkley is the manager for the local Charleston, SC band, CROWFIELD.  In a testimonial, we learned:  We just released our new album in June 2011m and I wanted to document the memories from our release show. I decided upon one black & white photo I took from the show. The canvas really captured my photo and made it look even better than the original. I was ecstatic when I opened it and immediately hung it on my wall. The band loved it! It’s a great way to furnish a home with cherished memories and a neat way to express the things you love. Thank You!”  What a great way to make that event special.  If our readers want to learn more about this band, they can just visit their website at www.crowfieldmusic.com.

Berkley went on to say, “I was extremely impressed with your company. Everything ran smoothly. My original photo was not the proper size for the canvas I ordered, but Canvas on Demand reformatted it for me for no extra charge and notified me of the change. The customer service was spectacular, and the end product was even better than I expected. I was very pleased with the way things turned out and will definitely be recommending your company to others.  Thank you for the wonderful customer service and a treasured product!”  Wow, Berkley, you made our day!

Gary picked an image that resonated with me because I am a cloud watcher!  He explained that “while looking through some old slides, I found a photo of my sister-in-law’s first rocking horse. I combined that photo with a recent one of her competing in a Cowboy Mounted Shooting match. I added an inspirational message: ‘I am not afraid… I was born to do this,’ by Joan of Arc.”

I’ve said it so many, many times before…our customers are some of the most creative people!  Gary’s testimonial ended with these words:  Your service is always great. I have tried others but Canvas on Demand has the best quality canvas and stretcher construction. The beehive hangers are fantastic. Shipping container is top rate.”

This canvas is stunning, Gary!  Thanks to all our featured customers.  Great job capturing some amazing images. We are so happy to be able to create what you love.   Mom

Is anyone feeling in one of those reflective moods today?  If so, you’ll love this article.  Let me start out with this amazing canvas that shows the ingenuity of one of our customers named Jason.  He took it in Positano, Italy.  Great shot, Jason!  I want to try something like

that.  He wrote us: “I was very pleased with Canvas on Demand.  My canvas arrived promptly on time and is professionally done. It looks wonderful on my wall. I will be ordering more from you. Thanks!”

Jim told us that he hung his canvas on the wall and it appears it’s like looking out of a window.  “I love it! My experience with Canvas on Demand has been great. I have done a few pieces with

them and even when I was not happy with one of the pieces (not their fault) they were on top of it and re-did another for me. Canvas on Demand does great work and knows how to take care of customers.”

Janet asked us to create a canvas from a photo she took in Jasper, Alberta, Canada along Lac Beauvert.  Wow!  Wouldn’t you just love to have that image hanging where you can see it on a stressful day?  “I first discovered Canvas on Demand through Groupon.  Since then, I’ve printed at least 10 of my pictures. Each came out beautifully. I prefer to do my own cropping and adjusting through Photoshop Elements, then simply upload and wait for my picture to arrive.”
